This bat dates to the first of the Yankees World Series Championships of the late 1990s-2000s dynasty. Bernie Williams was one of the key components of that team, batting .467 in the ALDS against Texas and then .474 in the ALCS against Baltimore, and then there was that clutch homer in the 8th inning that won Game 1 of the Series for New York. Bernie’s 1996 Rawlings 433B model bat shows tremendous game use with a handle crack. The barrel is covered with ball marks and white leather scuffs along with cleat imprints and abrasions. A light coat of pine tar is on the handle and Williams has signed the barrel in silver marker. This bat comes directly from the collection of Willie Randolph and a signed LOA from Willie Randolph will accompany this item. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B18065) for the game use and has been graded a near-perfect GU 9.5.
