A basketball legend, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is the top scorer in NBA history, a six-time MVP, and an NBA All Star 19 times. He was drafted by the Milwaukee Bucks with the first pick in 1969, and traded to the Lakers in 1975, where he finished his Hall of Fame career. This 24” x 20” original painting depicts him in his trademark goggles, attempting his patented skyhook. It is signed largely “Abdul-Jabbar” in black Sharpie. The artist twin brothers, Alan and Aaron Hicks, are from Chicago, both graduating with art degrees from the University of Illinois. While most of their creative images are based upon their spiritual faith, they are also creatively faithful to the sport of basketball. This new faith has helped them create a group of original artwork on many of the greatest players to ever play the game. This is one of those pieces. This beautiful painting comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA.
