Offered in this lot are two match balls from the 2007 Copa America Venezuela and the 2009 South Africa Confederations Cup. The 2007 Copa America used the Adidas Mercurial Veloci ball and the Confederations Cup used the Adidas Kopanya. The 2007 Copa America was won by perennial powers Brazil, who dispatched Argentina 3-0 in a clinical final match. The 2009 Confederations Cup went to Brazil after staving off a tough challenge from a resilient United States team. The USA beat Spain 2-0 in the semifinals, snapping Spain’s 35-match unbeaten streak. These two soccer balls are in good condition, and they come with a LOA from a member of the Brazilian Football Confederation.
