This yellowed "Official Little League" baseball is a unique item in which it contains a "Ted Williams" signature ("6") on the sweet spot along with the date June 8, 1969, which puts him as manager of the Washington Senators. However, there are 10 others signatures on the ball, including former player Ray Boone. What is interesting is all the persons who signed the ball appear to be close childhood friends of Williams, and maybe they had a reunion type event during the 1969 season. Like Williams, Boone was a San Diego product who was the batboy on Ted's American Legion team. The Williams signature is solid (as is the Boone's), and the ball displays nicely.
