As the 2019 season is drawing to a close, it appears that Mike Trout may add another MVP Award to the two others he has on his mantle back home in New Jersey. Trout finished the season with 45 home runs and 104 RBI in 134 games. When Trout’s season ended early September, he was leading the American League in home runs.
Offered here is Trout’s 2019 Old Hickory MT27* model bat that has been photo matched to the June 29th and June 30th games where he collected two of his season total 137 hits. The first hit with this bat on June 29th came in the bottom of the ninth inning off A’s pitcher Liam Hendricks and the second hit with this stick occurred the following afternoon in the bottom of the sixth inning off Oakland pitcher Chriss Bassitt.
This bat displays excellent game use. The barrel displays many ball marks that include stitch impressions, leather ball scuffs and ink transfers. The upper handle has a heavy coat of pine tar and the lower handle has a blue LizardSkins adhesive tape with his number “27” in red to enhance the grip. Trout has signed the barrel in bold silver marker adding “19 GU.” This bat comes with LOA from PSA/DNA for the game use and photo match and has been graded a perfect GU 10. Additionally, this bat comes with a LOA from Anderson Authentics (3944) for the game use and signature.
