The 1971 All Star game was highlighted by Reggie Jackson’s towering home run off Dock Ellis, a blast which hit the light tower ABOVE the Tiger Stadium roof. This home run keyed the AL’s 6-4 win over the NL, the only AL victory in a 20 year stretch from 1963-1982. This creamy toned Reach OAL Cronin baseball has been signed by 26 members of that winning squad, with Reggie Jackson penning two signatures. All are bold, blue ink signatures mostly grading (“8-10”). Includes: Earl Weaver, Al Kaline (both sweet spot), Vida Blue, Jim Perry, Brooks Robinson, Luis Aparicio, Bobby Murcer, Marty Pattin, Reggie Jackson (signed over trademark), Bill Melton, Rod Carew, Wilbur Wood, Jim Palmer, Jim Hunter, Frank Robinson, Dave Duncan, Thurman Munson, Reggie Jackson (again!), Don Buford, Fred Scherman, Frank Howard, Cookie Rojas, Amos Otis, Billy Martin, Bill Freehan, Harmon Killebrew and Mickey Lolich (last two on President label). This is a very high grade 1971 All Star team ball, with fabulous signatures and lots of key names. LOA from PSA/DNA, cert number H58466.
