Graded GD 2 (MK) by PSA. Hall of Famer. Berk Ross' multi-sport "Hit Parade of Champions" release gave the hobby this fascinating – and very seldom-seen – 1952 Mickey Mantle collectible. The pastel-hued portrayal carries all the glamour and excitement inherent in other of the slugger's early mementos, and adds a dash of mystery and uniqueness, too. The result is an aesthetic that always delights enthusiasts. On the offered piece, corner rounding at the bottom edge and a bit of surface scuffing inspire a relatively modest grading assessment. Also, a 1950's-era collector has helpfully recorded, in ink on the card's back, the slugger's annual batting averages through several successive campaigns. Here's the industry's third '52 Mantle card, in enticing Good condition (qualified as noted).
