After watching the Philadelphia A’s win the last three AL titles, the 1932 Yankees destroyed the American League in 1932, taking home the pennant by a whopping 13 games! The Yankees went on to sweep the Chicago Cubs in that year’s World Series, highlighted by the Bambino’s “Called Shot.” This creamy-toned “Babe Ruth Home Run Special” baseball is signed by 21 members of that World Series Championship club, plus Hormidas Aube a Yankee minor league pitcher. All signatures are black fountain pen ranging in grade from (“6-8”), with a few slightly lesser. Includes: Babe Ruth on sweet spot (“6”), Lou Gehrig (“7”), Joe Sewell, Johnny Murphy, Horm Aube, George Selkirk, Tony Lazzeri (“4”), Walter Brown, Dusty Cooke, Herb Pennock (“7”), Geo. W. Pipgras, Ed Wells, Lyn Lary, Art Jorgens, Myril Hoag, Eddie Farrell, Paul Andrews, Dusty Rhodes, Sam Byrd, Johhny Allen, Frank Crosetti and Jack Saltzgaver. Full LOA from PSA/DNA, cert number T09352.
