As one of America’s beloved actors, Jimmy Stewart appeared in countless memorable movies, nearly always playing the average American good guy. These four-page contracts were both regarding agent carbon contracts for handling Stewart’s services. The first contract is dated April 8th, 1971 for the "Standard AFTRA Exclusive Agency Contract Under Rule 12-B" in which Stewart employs the Chasin-Park-Citron Agency of Los Angeles, California as his "sole and exclusive Agent in the transcription, radio broadcasting and television industries..." for a term of three years, commencing on April 8th, 1971. Stewart was to pay a commission of 10% "of all monies or other consideration received...." The second is for a “General Materials and Packages” contract also which causes Stewart to pay 10% of all monies received. Each contract is boldly signed in blue ink on the back pages of the contract, “James A. Stewart,” and by his agent “Herman Citron.” Both contracts have staples in upper left corner, and remain in excellent condition. Awesome signed items for one of Hollywood’s beloved stars.
