Know for his handlebar moustache, Hall of Famer Rollie Finger was the pre-eminent closer of the 1970’s as he guided the Oakland A’s to three-straight World Series titles from 1972-1974. Offered here is one of Fingers’ gloves he used during the 1970’s and early 1980’s. This glove was manufactured by Rawlings and displays heavy game use. The Rawlings red logo is on the outer thumb just below the pocket and Fingers’ number “34” is handwritten in faded black marker on the outer thumb. There is a finger hole for the index finger and the tips of the glove show extensive wear. A great collectible from one of the great closers in baseball history. This glove comes with a LOA from Rollie Fingers.
