Presented is a lot of five 1996 United States Women’s National (Soccer) Team signed postcards with 18 signatures each, in black pen, including stars Mia Hamm, Brandi Chastain and Michelle Akers. The 5 x 7-inch color postcards feature a team photograph on the front, with the signatures of each player and coach near their respective images. The back of the card has a caption for the photo. Other notable signatures include Julie Foudy, Briana Scurry and coach Tony DiCicco. This is the team that won the Gold Medal in the inaugural Olympic women's soccer tournament in the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia, defeating China 2–1 in the final before a crowd of 76,481 fans. This lot comes with a LOA from Michelle Akers and has been pre-certified by Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication.
