Akers was the top scorer at the first FIFA Women’s World Cup, scoring 10 goals as the United States defeated Norway 2-1 in the tournament final. Included in this lot is Akers’ signed locker room nameplate, numerous signed posters, a signed ticket to the 1991 FIFA Women’s World Cup opening ceremonies, a signed credential, and more! This lot comes with a LOA from Michelle Akers. A portion of the proceeds shall benefit the Michelle Akers Horse Rescue and Outreach Inc.
