This baseball is from the collection of the late owner of the Los Angeles/California/Anaheim Angels, Gene Autry. Hall of Famers Orlando Cepeda and Red Schoendienst have signed their names on the sweet spot, both in blue pen, while other notable signatures on this baseball include Hall of Famer Bob Gibson (to the left of Cepeda and Schoendienst in blue pen), Curt Flood (to the right of Cepeda and Schoendienst in black pen), Dal Maxvill (in blue pen), Dick Schofield (in blue pen), and Roger Maris (in blue pen), Hall of Fame pitcher Steve Carlton (in blue pen), and Tim McCarver (in black pen). The ball is inscribed in red marker “1968” on the sweet spot. This item comes with a LOA from Jacqueline Autry, the widow of the late Gene Autry.
