Offered is a lot of 50 Michelle Akers signed soccer trading cards. Akers is a former American soccer player who starred in the 1991 and 1999 Women's World Cup and 1996 Olympics victories by the United States. At the 1991 World Cup, she won the Golden Shoe as the top scorer, with 10 goals. She is regarded as one of the greatest soccer players of all time. She was named FIFA Female Player of the Century in 2002, an award she shared with China's Sun Wen.

The first item in this lot is a set of 19 photo trading cards celebrating the U.S. Women’s National Team 1999 World Champions. Akers has signed her name and inscribed her number, “10”, and “USA” in black marker on the first card in the set, which features a photo of the former U.S. midfielder on the front, and her career statistics on the back. This lot also includes 19 copies of the Rook Sports U.S. Women’s National Team 1999 World Champions Premiere Series trading card featuring a photo of Akers on the front and her career statistics on the back. Akers has signed her name and inscribed “10 USA” in black marker on the front of each of the 19 cards.

Also included in this lot is a “U.S. Soccer Foundation 1997 Club Member” card signed and inscribed “Michelle Akers USA” on the front in black marker. This lot also includes a 2011 Topps soccer card (#177) celebrating the United States winning the 1999 Women’s World Cup. Akers has signed her name in black marker, and inscribed “10 USA” below her signature on the front of the card, which features a post-goal on-field celebration.

Akers has signed her name and inscribed “USA” below her signature in black marker on 10 copies of the 1994 Upper Deck U.S. Soccer card (#267) featuring an action photo of the former U.S. midfielder on the front, and her career statistics on the back.  This lot includes 13 copies of the 2007 Donruss Elite Extra Edition Michelle Akers University of Central Florida card (#89), each signed by Akers on the front in black marker. Akers is feature in an action photograph on the silver and black front of the card, with her UCF statistics on the back in gold and black. Also include in this lot are 5 copies of the 2008 Donruss Sports Legends card (#33) featuring a color action photo of Akers on the front, and a career bio on the back. Akers has signed her name in black marker on each card. This lot comes with a LOA from Akers.
