Offered is a lot of two Mickey Mantle twice-signed National Sports Council information flyers from the mid-1950s. The first item in this lot is a Mickey Mantle twice-signed flyer, captioned “Offer a Helping Hand.” Mantle has signed his name in blue marker on the front side, which features a black and white photograph of Mantle in a dark suit jacket and striped tie, and signed his name again in blue marker on the back side, which is captioned “Safety and Common Sense” and features a black and white photo of New York Yankees manager Casey Stengel in uniform speaking with Yankees catcher Yogi Berra in suit and tie with a catchers’ glove. The 11 x 14-inch white cardstock flyer is printed in black, red, and green, published in 1958 by the National Sports Council. This item comes with a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (F06706).

The second item in this lot is a Mickey Mantle twice-signed flyer, captioned “Power Trigger.” Mantle has signed his name in blue marker on the front side of the poster, which provides exercise tips for building hand and wrist strength and features a black & white photo of Mantle in a National Sports Council t-shirt holding a broom. Mantle has signed the reverse side of the poster, also in blue marker, below a black & white head & should photo of the Yankees All-Star. The bottom of the poster is captioned “Special Set of Mickey Mantle Exercises”. The 11 x 14-inch white cardstock flyer is printed in black and green, published in 1956 by the National Sports Council. This item comes with a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (F06707). All four signatures have been graded GEM MINT 10 by Beckett Authentication.
