Presented is a lot of 27 Los Angeles/California/Anaheim Angels team-signed baseballs from the 1960s through the 2000s. There are four baseballs in this lot that draw particular interest, including two Angels souvenir baseballs with Gene Autry’s signature below the black stamped logo. On both balls, Autry has signed his name in blue marker and inscribed “4-15-79” below his signature. These two balls also include the signatures of 17 Angels players in blue pen, including Don Baylor, Bob Clear, Bob Grich, Carney Lansford and Hall of Famer Rod Carew as well as manager Jim Fregosi on the sweet spot. Another highlight of this lot is an Official American League Gene A. Budig baseball with 16 signatures in blue pen including Hall of Famer Eddie Murray and notable star Dave Parker. This lot also includes a multi-signed Official American League Lee Mac Phail baseball with 30 signatures in black pen including the signatures of Hall of Famer Reggie Jackson and manager Gene Mauch on the sweet spot, and the signatures of Fred Lynn, Bob Grich and Bob Boone, among others. This lot include multiple signatures from a wide variety of Angels players from the team’s founding in 1962 through the early 21st century, including Rudy May, Ken Brett, Gary DiSarcina and Rex Hudler. This lot comes with a LOA from Jacqueline Autry, widow of the late Angels owner Gene Autry. This lot has been pre-certified by Beckett Authentication.
