Presented here is a 1970-2000 Three Rivers Stadium seat, constructed of a hard brown plastic seat and back with a metal frame. Three Rivers Stadium – home of Major League Baseball’s Pittsburgh Pirates and the National Football League’s Pittsburgh Steelers – cost $55 million to build and opened on July 16, 1970. It was closed for good at the end of the year 2000 and was then demolished in February of 2001. Maximum seating capacity of the stadium was roughly 48,000 for baseball and 59,000 for football. This seat shows much wear/use and is marked with the number “6”. No anchor base is included. The measurements for this item are approximately 29 inches tall x 25 inches wide.
