Baltimore Memorial Stadium celebrated its updated, second opening in April of 1950. The Baltimore Colts would play there from 1953-1983, while the Orioles debuted in their new home on April 15, 1954 and remained in the stadium until 1991. Additionally, the Baltimore Ravens played in Memorial Stadium in 1996-1997, before the stadium was closed at the end of 1997. The stadium was demolished in 2001. Seating capacity was approximately 54,000 for baseball and 60,000 for football. Presented here is a 1950-2001 Baltimore Memorial Stadium gray wooden seat – with metal frame – marked with the number “9” in white. This seat shows much wear, and paint chipping, and does not include a base. Approximate measurements are 29 inches tall x 27 inches wide.
