Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo wore this white Association Edition jersey during Games 1, 2 & 5 of the Bucks Eastern Conference Semifinals series against the Boston Celtics. Antetokounmpo, the 2019 NBA Most Valuable Player, led the Bucks a five-game series victory and led all scoring in two of the three games he wore this jersey over the visiting Celtics at the Fiserv Forum to end Boston’s championship hopes. Antetokounmpo led all scorers with 20 points, adding eight rebounds, eight assists, two blocks, and two steals in a confident and versatile performance in the closing Game 5. The skyscraping Greek import was +35 with a 79 DRtg for the Bucks, almost single handedly keeping the Celtics far under the 100-point mark. Antetokounmpo averaged 28.5 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 5.2 assists per game during the Conference Semifinals. Giannis also had a game-high 29 points in the pivotal Game 2, after the Celtics surprised the Bucks in Game 1.
The ever-improving Antetokounmpo had a season for the ages in 2018-19, averaging 27.7 points, 12.5 rebounds, and 5.9 assists per game as the Bucks won 60 games and Antetokounmpo earned First Team All-NBA and First Team All-Defensive accolades. “The Greek Freak” defeated James Harden in the MVP race to claim his second piece of NBA silverware after taking home the 2016-17 Most Improved Player award.
