This colorful and attractive piece hails from an extremely scarce regional issue that's virtually never seen in today's hobby. Issued to accompany Kosto brand dessert products, primarily in the Chicago area, it's likely that the majority of these were discarded by Mom as she disposed of the pudding mix's packaging. (It's hard to imagine too many children encountering these items, since they probably didn't actively participate in pudding prep; the few that fell into youngsters' hands were doubtless used as intended, and quickly stuck to glass.) The clean, 2-1/8" x 1-1/4" transfer, comprised of super-thin cardstock, presents at the VG/EX level (conceding a small corner crease at the upper right, a few minor scrapes and routine decal-back discoloration on the reverse).
