In Willie Mays’ rookie year of 1951, the baseball Giants won the National League pennant, but fell to the cross-town rival Yankees in the World Series. This vintage Spalding NL Frick ball is creamy-white and has a few stains, while some of the signatures in black ink have faded. Signatures include: Willie Mays, Bobby Thompson, Bill Rigney, Monte Irvin, Larry Jensen, Eddie Stanky, Sal Maglie, Al Corwin, Sal Yvars, Clint Hartung, Whitey Lockman, Al Dark, Jimmy Hearn, Ray Noble, Earl Rapp, Hank Schenz, Davey Williams, Don Mueller, Sheldon Jones, Wes Westrum, and Dave Koslo, and three others, while the Leo Durocher (sweet-spot) signature is a stamp.
