In 2009, the NY Yankees opened a new stadium and won a World Series. During that historic season, they hosted the Baltimore Orioles and Toronto Blue Jays in mid-September, holding a 6.5-game lead on Boston with two weeks to go in the season. Mariano Rivera signed this item in bold, vivid black Sharpie, across its face (grade 8). The plate bears evidence of heavy use, including caked mud on the all five black edges, and abraded and gouged white center.
