Although only one season away from retirement, the 36-year-old Willie Randolph showed he still had pop in his bat when he hit a soaring .327 for the Brewers in 1991. The Rawlings 423B model bat shows heavy use and is un-cracked. The barrel shows checking from repeated ball contact and the barrel has many ball marks with stitch impressions and leather scuffs. There are cleat imprints present along with bat rack paint streaks. The handle has been wrapped in a crisscross pattern of adhesive tape to enhance the grip and a moderate coat of pine tar applied. Willie’s number “30” is handwritten on the knob in silver paint and he has signed the barrel in silver marker, adding “Game Used.” This bat comes from the personal collection of Willie Randolph and a signed LOA will accompany this item. This also comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B18216) for the game use and has been graded a near-perfect GU 9.5, plus a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication.
