Willie Randolph was a standout player for the New York Yankees. A member of the 1977 and 1978 World Series-winning teams, Randolph was a steady presence at second base and at the plate. Randolph finished his career with 2,210 hits. Following his playing career that ended after the 1992 season, Randolph joined the coaching ranks and re-joined the Yankees in 1994. Randolph coached with the Yankees until he was appointed New York Mets manager for the 2005 season.

Offered here are seven game used bats that come directly from the personal collection of Willie Randolph. The first bat is a Willie Randolph Louisville Slugger S2 model bat from 1992 that was used by Mets’ catcher Todd Hundley. Hundley’s number “9” is handwritten in white paint on the knob and covers Randolph’s number “12” that was handwritten in silver marker. The bat displays outstanding game use and has a crack on the handle. There are ball marks and checking or grain swelling from repeated ball contact on the barrel. The next bat is a Louisville Slugger C271 model bat used by Chili Davis. This bat displays excellent game use and has a crack on the upper handle/lower barrel. There are ball marks, blue ink transfers and white leather scuffs present on the barrel. Davis has signed this bat in silver marker and inscribed “45”.

The next bat was used by Bobby Bonilla. Bonilla’s Louisville Slugger Grand Slam model bat has “Roberto Bonilla” stamped on the barrel, which has blue ink transfers and other marks. The bat is un-cracked. The next bat was used by Cecil Fielder and is a Cooper Pro 100 model bat. This bat displays heavy game use with a crack on the handle. There are ball marks, blue ink transfers and slight checking or grain swelling from repeated ball contact on the barrel. The next bat is a Louisville Slugger S331 model bat that was used by Cory Snyder. This bat displays outstanding game use and has a crack on the handle. There are ball marks and cleat imprints present on the barrel. The next bat is a Louisville Slugger C243 model bat used by Enrique Wilson. Wilson’s bat displays light game use and is un-cracked. There are black ink transfers and ball marks present on the barrel. The final bat in this lot was used by Jerry Royster. Royster’s Cooper Pro 100 bat shows moderate use and is un-cracked. There are ball marks and bat rack streaks present on the barrel. These bats derive from the collection of Willie Randolph and a signed LOA from Willie Randolph will accompany these bats.
