Asomugha led a Raiders defense that held the Texans without a touchdown after the first quarter, finishing the game with three tackles. Asomugha was named First-Team All-Pro at the end of the 2008 season after quarterbacks threw his way only 27 times, resulting in a scant eight completions and earning wide praise as the NFL’s best shutdown cornerback.
