All-Pro cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha wore this black Oakland Raiders home jersey on December 21st, 2008 as the Raiders defeated the Houston Texans 27-16 at Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum. Asomugha led a Raiders defense that held the Texans without a touchdown after the first quarter, finishing the game with three tackles. Asomugha was named First-Team All-Pro at the end of the 2008 season after quarterbacks threw his way only 27 times, resulting in a scant eight completions and earning wide praise as the NFL’s best shutdown cornerback.
This offered Raiders home jersey has Asomugha’s number “21” sewn on the chest, back, and shoulders in silver tackle twill. “ASOMUGHA” is sewn across the back shoulders in silver tackle twill over a matching black nameplate. Reebok logo patches are sewn on each shoulder while a Gene Upshaw memorial patch is sewn on the left chest. A captain’s “C” patch with two gold stars is sewn on the chest. An NFL Equipment shield is sewn on the collar. This jersey has been photo matched to the December 21st game by RGU, who have provided a LOA and is also accompanied by a Raiders LOA.
