The Hall of Fame linebacker Junior Seau wore this white Miami Dolphins road jersey in three games during the 2003 NFL season, including in Miami’s 23-10 win over the New York Giants at Giants Stadium on October 5th. Seau led all players with 13 tackles in the contest, adding two TFLs for Miami’s swarming defense. Seau, a former collegiate standout at the University of Southern California, recorded 96 tackles and three sacks in his first of three seasons in Miami. The six-time First Team All-Pro selection anchored Miami’s third-ranked defense in his 14th NFL season. Seau retired after spending the 2009 NFL season with the New England Patriots and was posthumously inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2015.
This offered Dolphins road jersey is white, with Seau’s number “55” sewn on the chest, back, and shoulders in teal, orange, and black tackle twill. “SEAU” is sewn across the back shoulders in teal and orange tackle twill over a matching white nameplate. Dolphins and Reebok logos are present on the sleeves. An “03-48” swatch is sewn on the back inside collar. This jersey comes with an NFL-PSA/DNA STICKER ONLY (1N07554) and a Resolution Photomatching LOA. RPM have photo matched this jersey to three games in the 2003 season.
