Hanley Ramirez burst onto the scene as a rookie with the Florida Marlins in 2006, winning the National League Rookie of the Year award and becoming one of the premier infielders in baseball. This lot features a number of Hanley Ramirez game used materials. Included is a pair of Ramirez's pants from his rookie season in 2006. The pants feature a patch used to repair the right knee area, which was torn up during a game. Multiple holes are on the bottom right leg of the pants from being stepped on by his spikes. Ramirez signed the pants on the right thigh, adding the phrases “Game Used 06” and “NL ROY 06”. Also in the lot are a pair of signed Franklin batting gloves and a cap that Hanley Ramirez wore during a game in 2009. The batting gloves feature Ramirez signature with the phrase “Game Used 09” written in black pen. Similarly, the cap also has his signature and “Game Used 09” in a silver Sharpie. Written in marker on the inside of the cap is “H2R”. A signed official MLB baseball with the phrase “C-H2R” is also in the lot. All four items are pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
