Offered in this lot are two New York Yankees jerseys worn during the 2009 MLB Season. The first jersey is a gray road number worn by Damaso Marte during the Yankees road trip from April 6th to 15th against Baltimore, Kansas City, and Tampa Bay. Marte pitched in two of those games, against Baltimore on the 6th and against Kansas City on the 12th. This offered Yankees road jersey is a gray button-down, with “NEW YORK” sewn on the chest and Marte’s number “43” sewn on the back, both in navy and white tackle twill. A Yankee Stadium inaugural season patch is sewn on the left sleeve and an MLB patch is sewn on the back outside collar. A Majestic tag with attached size “48” and “2009” flags is sewn on the front left tail. This jersey comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (LH275222) and a Steiner Sports LOA.

The second jersey is a pinstriped home button-down worn by Angel Berroa in 2009. Berroa, the 2003 American League Rookie of the Year, played 21 games with the Yankees in 2009 before joining the New York Mets in July. This offered Yankees home jersey features the iconic “NY” logo sewn on the chest in navy tackle twill, and Berroa’s number “14” sewn on the back in the same fashion. A Yankee Stadium inaugural season patch is sewn on the left sleeve and an MLB patch is sewn on the back outside collar. A Majestic tag with attached size “46” and “2009” flags is sewn on the front left tail. This jersey comes with a Steiner Sports LOA.
