This approximately 4” x 5.25” newspaper photo clipping shows what Babe Ruth did best, cheering up sick children and making their days brighter. As an orphan, Ruth always had a special fondness for children, and he was a regular in children’s hospitals and orphanages. This clipping has Ruth signing baseballs for two young boys, while the clipping itself is signed “Babe Ruth” across the front in black fountain pen. This clipping is attractively framed with two replica New York Yankees pins to a dimension of 8.25” x 13.5”. Full LOA from PSA/DNA, cert number T01649.
