Minnesota Vikings cornerback Antoine Winfield wore this purple Vikings home jersey as Minnesota dispatched the Green Bay Packers 30-23 at the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome on October 5th, 2009. Winfield intercepted Aaron Rodgers in the second quarter, leading to a Sidney Rice touchdown grab on a Brett Favre pass, as the former Ohio State star finished the game with 10 tackles, a TFL, and two passes defended in addition to his interception. Favre completed 24 of 31 passes for 271 yards and three touchdowns in a defeat of his former team. Winfield, a 2009 Pro Bowler, finished the season with 55 tackles, a sack, and an interception.
This offered Vikings alternate home jersey is purple, with Winfield’s number “26” sewn on the chest, back, and shoulders in white tackle twill. “WINFIELD” is sewn across the back shoulders in white tackle twill over a matching purple nameplate. Yellow and white stripes are present on the sleeves and a NFL logo patch is sewn on the collar. This jersey has been photo matched to the October 5th game by RGU, who have provided a LOA. This jersey also comes with a Vikings COA.
