Jackson, a two-time World Series champion with the Yankees, hit 144 of his 563 career home runs with the Yankees and won the 1977 World Series MVP award with the Bronx Bombers. Jackson’s number “44” is retired by the Yankees and the former Arizona State star was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1993.
