1957 was a pivotal year for the Dodgers’ franchise. It would be the last season in Brooklyn as both the Dodgers and Giants left New York for the West Coast for the 1958 seasons. This Official National League Warren C. Giles baseball has been signed by 21 members of that last team in Brooklyn with no clubhouse signatures which is very rare for these Dodgers Team balls. The baseball displays toning from age and the signatures have been penned in bold blue ink that has a protective shellac coating. Signatures include Hall of Famer and manager Walter Alston on the sweet spot, fellow Hall of Famers Roy Campanella, Don Drysdale and Pee Wee Reese. Other signatures include Gil Hodges, Carl Furillo, Don Bessent, Rube Walker, Carl Erskine, Bob Kennedy, Elmer Valo, Danny McDevitt, Johnny Podres, Randy Jackson, Sal Maglie, Don Zimmer and others. This ball comes with a LOA from JSA (Z87683).
