Hall of Fame pitcher Sandy Koufax retired at the young age of 30 following the 1966 season. The dominant lefty finished his career with a 165-87 record and 2.76 ERA. Koufax earned three Cy Young Awards, an NL MVP and hurled four no-hitters. After his career, Koufax was still involved with the Dodgers’ organization and during the 1970’s he wore this offered Los Angeles Dodgers’ jacket, which has been dated to the late 1970's/early 1980's. This size 44 blue jacket was manufactured by W.A. Goodman & Sons and features “Dodgers” and a paraph sewn on across the white zippered front in white tackle twill. The front has two pockets with the sleeve ends and waist having a ribbed material with white and blue stripes. The inside collar has the Goodman tag and an additional white tag that has “32 Koufax” handwritten in faded blue marker. The back of this jacket has “KOUFAX” sewn on in white tackle twill.
