Offered is a lot of two Paul “Bear” Bryant signed footballs. During his 25-year tenure as Alabama's head coach, Bryant and the Crimson Tide amassed six national championships (tied for the most in modern college football history) and 13 conference championships. Upon his retirement in 1982, he held the record for the most wins (323) as a head coach in collegiate football history. The first item in this lot is a Bryant signature and inscription in red marker on a Spalding Autograph model football. Bryant has inscribed “11/18/82 Best Wishes Paul “Bear” Bryant” on the first of three white leather panels on the four-panel football. The leather is hardened on the white panels. This item comes with a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (A25482).

The second item in this lot is a Bryant signature and inscription on a presentation football. The late Alabama coach has inscribed “To B. B. Best Wishes Paul “Bear” Bryant” in black pen on the white leather panel. This item comes with a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (A25481).
