Former Los Angeles Dodger Ron Cey held down third base on what became baseball's longest running all-star infield - Steve Garvey (1st), Davey Lopes (2nd), Bill Russell (SS) and Cey stayed together for a remarkable eight summers. This helmet dates from the third baseman's years with the quartet when he was in the heart of a string of six All-Star appearances. This blue Los Angeles helmet was manufactured by American Baseball Cap (ABC) and features the interlocking “LA” in white on the front. Please note there is slight peeling on the lower tip of the “A”. Cey’s number “10” is affixed to the bring and the back of the helmet in white decals. The interior tan interior padding is still intact and this helmet displays excellent use. Cey has signed his name in black marker on the brim. This comes with a LOA from JT Sports for the game use and a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (A25398) for the signature.
