On August 23, 2017, the Colorado Rockies were at Kansas City to play the Royals. In the top of the 6th, the Rockies were up 3-2 when Colorado’s Charlie Blackmon acme to the plate. With a runner on first, Blackmon hit a Ryan Buchter fastball to left field, moving the runner to third. This is the bat Blackmon used for the hit in the eventual 6-4 Royals win. The Old Hickory Model CB19L model bat shows moderate game use with a cracked handle. The barrel shows several ball marks, one being the hit Blackmon got off Buchter. The handle has a coat of pine tar and the knob has been taped to enhance the grip. A Rockies team sticker with Blackmon’s number “19” is affixed to the knob end. This bat comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (JC232071) and LOA from PSA/DNA (1B18235) for the game use, plus a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication for the signature (A25411).
