Offered is a Pete Maravich signature and inscription on the front cover of the November 12, 1973 issue of Sports Illustrated. The Basketball Hall of Famer has signed his name “Pistol Pete” in purple marker and inscribed “John 14:6” below his signature over a color action photo of the former Atlanta Hawks star. The cover is headlined “Pistol Pete is on Target for Atlanta.” This copy has a 1 x 3-inch white paper mailing label in the lower left corner. There is a fold mark in the lower right corner of the front cover and worn edges at the upper left and right corners and the lower right corner. This item comes with a full LOA from JSA (Z90835).
