Wearing this road gray Miami Marlins jersey, former National League MVP Christian Yelich went 3-for-6 with two RBI and a run scored during the September 10th, 2017 game against the Atlanta Braves at SunTrust Park. Yelich’s performance was not enough as the Braves fought back to win an 11-inning 10-8 victory. This jersey features “MIAMI” sewn on the chest in white, blue, black, yellow and silver combination tackle twill. Black piping runs around the collar and is on each sleeve end. There is a memorial black circle with a white “16” patch on the upper left chest in honor of Jose Fernandez, who died in a boating accident in September of 2016. The Majestic size 44 tag is screen-printed on the bottom front left tail and an additional Majestic bar code tag is applied to the center front tail that reads “#21 2017 44 +1B +S 668”. The back of the jersey has “YELICH” sewn on in black and white tackle twill with his number “21” sewn on in black, orange and white tackle twill. The MLB logo patch is sewn on the outside back collar. This jersey displays light use and has remants of Eye Black on the top of the front collar.
