Offered is a Larry Bird and Magic Johnson signed giclee print of painting by noted sports artist Stephen Holland, circa 2000. Bird has signed his name in silver paint pen in the center left, while Johnson has signed his name in silver paint pen in the lower center, on their respective images in the colorful painting. The artist has signed his name in silver paint pen in the lower right corner. The 27 x 44-inch color canvas depicts Bird, in a white Boston Celtics uniform, jostling for a rebound under the basket with Johnson, in a purple Los Angeles Lakers uniform, tries to box him out. The multi-colored brush strokes and paint drips by Holland create a dynamic background for the two Basketball Hall of Fame legends, captured at the height of their National Basketball Association fame.  The giclee print is inscribed “6/99” in silver paint pen in the lower left corner. The limited edition giclee lithograph was produced in an edition of 180, with 99 Regular editions, 33 Larry Bird proofs, 32 Magic Johnson proofs and 16 Artist proofs. The print is displayed in a 27 x 44-inch black laminate frame. This item comes with a pair of 4 x 6-inch color photographs of Johnson and Bird signing the print.
