Offered is a 1986 and 1990 New York Giants multi-signed Giants full-size helmet with 28 signatures in silver marker, including Lawrence Taylor and Phil Simms. Notable signatures include Simms (who has inscribed “#11” below his signature), Taylor (above the white “Giants” decal on the right side of the helmet), Jeff Rutledge, Terry Kinnard, Lionel Manuel, Perry Williams, Leonard Marshall, William Roberts, Tony Galbreath, Raul Allegre, Mark Collins, Mark Bavaro, Kenny Hill, Eric Dorsey and Everson Walls. The navy-blue helmet has a white face mask, white “GIANTS” decals on each side, and a red stripe down the center. The 1986 New York Giants squad won their first-ever Super Bowl in franchise history during the season. Led by consensus league Most Valuable Player linebacker Taylor and Super Bowl MVP quarterback Simms, the Giants posted a 14–2 record during the regular season, tied for the best record in the league with the defending Super Bowl champion Chicago Bears and the best in team history. The Giants won Super Bowl XXI against the Denver Broncos. In the 1990 NFL season, led by Taylor and quarterbacks Simms and Jeff Hostetler, the Giants posted a 13–3 record before defeating the Chicago Bears and the two-time defending Super Bowl champion San Francisco 49ers in the NFC playoffs.
