Here's an appealing '53 Topps Mickey Mantle card that sports intense, boldly projecting colors. The attractive and sought-after collectible, presenting the prized illustration of "The Mick" with admirable clarity, retains sharp, nicely pointed corners. The red caption block on the card front’s lower left is wonderfully bright, with just small spots of wear at the corner’s tip. Admirable image focus adds to the card's visually wholesome character, and its reverse is clean with no trace of the issue's faint and often-seen, wrapper wax toning. A gratifying example of a coveted early Mantle, in Excellent to Mint condition.
