Pound for pound, Sugar Ray Leonard was without a doubt one of the greatest boxers to ever step foot in the ring. He held world titles in five weight classes during different times in his career, which finished with a 36-3-1 record, including 25 knockouts. His third class division title came as a middleweight, when he defeated Marvelous Marvin Hagler on April 6, 1987 for the WBC championship.

Offered here is a 14K gold Sugar Ray Leonard middleweight championship ring that was presented to his staff. This ring features a round diamond set in a large number “3”, while “SUGAR RAY LEONARD 4.6.87” reads around it, separated by genuine colored stones. One side of the ring displays “MIDDLEWEIGHT” with the other side reading “CHAMPION”. The inside of this band - which shows some wear - is inscribed “Many thanks, Ray” and also includes a 14K mark. This ring is an approximate size 9 and weighs approximately 21.3 grams
