One of the blue-chip pieces of memorabilia that belongs in all baseball enthusiast collections is a Mickey Mantle signed baseball.  However, with the abundance of Mickey Mantle single signed baseballs available, collectors have swarmed to the uniquely signed baseballs with rare inscriptions driving the price and demand for those balls to numbers unimaginable for collectors at one time.   For baseballs without an inscription, grading has made the seemingly ordinary Mantle baseball catapult from $400 to $4000 depending upon the grade. 

This baseball differs from most in rarity for multiple reasons.  For starters this is not a typical Mickey Mantle signed American League baseball. The signed offering is located on a unique George Brett logo baseball which is not common whatsoever.  Additionally, this baseball once belonged to Mickey Mantle’s brother Roy, making this a baseball ultra-familiar and personal to Mickey and the Mantle family.  The baseball comes from Roy’s Widow, Mary Mantle and is accompanied by a copy of her letter of authentication.  Additionally, the signature has been verified by JSA and comes with a Full LOA.
