Steve Garvey spent 14 seasons with the Los Angeles Dodgers, where he was the 1974 National League MVP and led the Dodgers to four World Series’ appearances – including the 1981 World Series title. This offered Dodgers helmet dates to Garvey's his final season with the club in 1982. The interlocking “LA” white decal is affixed to the front. This size 7 ¼ helmet was made by American Baseball Cap and has a tan pad around the inner lining. The PSA letter notes that the helmet does not contain the "6" decals found on other Dodgers helmets from the time period. The left ear has an earflap for right-handed batters. This helmet displays moderate game use and Garvey has signed his name in silver marker on the left side and inscribed “Last Helmet 1982”, “6” and “1974 NL MVP.”
