Former running back Charles White had his best season in 1987 when he led the NFL in rushing and touchdowns, earning him a Pro Bowl and First Team All-Pro selections. White wore this white Los Angeles Rams mesh jersey during the 1987 season and this jersey has been photo matched to the December 27, 1987 game against the San Francisco 49ers at Candlestick Park. White recorded 95 rushing yards on 21 carries in the Rams loss. This white mesh jersey was made by Russell Athletic and is a size 46. White’s number “33” is screen-printed on the front, back and on the yellow sleeves. “WHITE” is screen-printed in blue on a matching white mesh nameplate on the back shoulders. The sleeves are yellow with a blue Spandex material separating the torso from the sleeves and forming a ram’s horn. This jersey displays heavy game use with mud stains all over, along with several team repairs and an approximately 4-inch tear on the blue stripe on the right shoulder that connects to the yellow mesh sleeve. White has signed this jersey twice in black marker, one on the upper chest and the other below his number on the back and inscribed “#33 L.A. Rams 1987 vs. S.F.” on the back. This jersey comes with a LOA from PM&G, who have photo matched this jersey to the December 27, 1987 game and a LOA from Beckett Authentication for the signature.
