Forward Bernard King, the seventh overall selection in the 1977 NBA draft, enjoyed a 14-year career with five teams. He appeared in four All-Star games and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2013. King signed his name and number (“#30”) in black Sharpie below his tackle-twill “30” on the jersey’s white mesh front. The front of this Champion Apparel home Bullets jersey has the tackle-twill “Bullets” logo stitched across the chest. Below is King’s number “30.” On the reverse, “King” is stitched in tackle-twill blue across the shoulders. A red-trimmed blue tackle-twill “30” completes the backside. The left hip area sports a woven tag, with two sections: the left side contains the Champion logo; the right side contains the size (“44”) and washing instructions. The left-side internal seam has two tags sewn in: “100% NYLON” and “2” EXTRA LENGTH.” Evidence of light game use can be found with yellowing of the white mesh. An LOA from game-worn jersey expert, Dave Miedema, accompanies this item as does a COA from PSA/DNA (#U69483). This item also comes with an LOA from Jeremy Kable, who received the item directly from the player/team during his NBA performance tours.
