In 1995, Dale Earnhardt, Sr. was attempting to bear the Winston cup Series record with his eighth title, but newbie Jeff Gordon won his first overall title. This ring was presented to a member of that Hendricks Motorsports Jeff Gordon team. This Herff Jones 10K gold ring has the Gordon racing number "24" on the top, surrounded by "1995 WINSTON CUP CHAMPION" in raised relief on the perimeter. The one shank has the team member name "GRIFFIN" also in raised relief, the 25th Anniversary Winston Cup Series insignia and a pair of checkered flags. The other shank has "HENDRICK MOTORSPORTS" name, a replica of Gordon's car and his facsimile signature. This size 11 ring weighs 28 grams, and has "HJ-10K" engraved within the band. This is a tremendous team ring from the first Winston Cup title of one of the most popular NASCAR drivers. Excellent condition.
