Derek Jeter, the latest Yankee legend, has had countless memorable moments during his career in pinstripes and the most recent came in 2011 against the Tampa Bay Rays at Yankee Stadium. Needing just one more hit to join the 3,000 hit club, Jeter became only the second player in history to hit a home run for his 3,000th hit. This 30 x 40 inch printed image on canvas of Jeter features "3,000" in big, bold yellow letters at the top, an image of Jeter swinging a bat below, with three images of Yankee Stadium along the right side. This item is printed on canvas, with dozens of hand touches by the artist added. Jeter boldly signed this item in gold Sharpie "Derek Jeter" on the left side in his flowing script; Holland’s signature, also in gold Sharpie, is found on the lower right, and the painting is marked "50/102".
