The New York Yankees played the Detroit Tigers in Detroit on Mother’s day, May 11, 2008. Many players used pink bats, and other pink gear for breast cancer awareness. This commemorative home plate has the Tigers Olde English “D” at the top with the MLB logo, and a pink ribbon and MLB logo in the middle of the plate. All are bold, blue Sharpie signatures, some with numbers added.
