Drafted by the L.A. Dodgers, Adrian Beltre played seven seasons in Chavez Ravine before joining the Mariners in Seattle. Beltre used this bat during his rookie campaign in 1998. Beltre signed and inscribed in the sweet spot, “Adrian Beltre #29” in vivid black Sharpie and second “Adrian Beltre” autograph in black Sharpie is found under the barrel’s header. This red-tinted, 34-inch, 30.9-oz. game-used ash Louisville Slugger Model 125 exhibits evidence of heavy use: a cracked handle with sliver missing; several blackened ball marks are visible on the front and top barrel; black bat rack streaks are noticeable on the bottom barrel near the label. Evidence of pine tar is found on the handle. The knob and tip are both inscribed in black marker with “29.” The bat’s barrel is engraved with “GENUINE M110/ADRIAN BELTRE/LOS ANGELES DODGERS. ”An LOA from PSA/DNA (#1B05780) accompanies this item.
